Fully Qualified, Registered Teacher..

I have just received my certificate of registration for this year in the post.

It is so important that dancers attend classes with not only qualified but registered teachers of a dance organisation. This registration allows me to use the letters RAD RTS after my name, which means Royal Academy of Dance, Registered Teacher Status.

Being registered allows us to incorporate the fabulous RAD syllabus into our teaching and to enter students for RAD Examinations. It also requires teachers to complete a certain amount of hours going to meetings, courses and do research throughout the year, every year. This is called CPD (Continuous Professional Development) and it ensures that we are up to date with with the latest developments in syllabus and training. 

This is to enable your child or yourself to receive the most up-to-date and relevant training with a safe and professional approach at all times.
